BirdieCut Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

BirdieCut ("the app") is built and operated by Sweet N Simple Home LLC ("we," "us," "our"). We designed BirdieCut to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information, and the rights you have. Please read it before using the app.

The short version: BirdieCut does not collect, store, or transmit your personal information. Your videos and photos are processed on your device, are never uploaded to our servers, and the app has no account system and no third-party tracking.

01Information we process

Your content

To create a highlight, BirdieCut works with the golf videos and photos you choose to import. This content stays on your device and is used only to perform the editing you request within the app. We do not upload it to our servers, and we cannot see it.

Permissions

The app may request access to your camera, photo library, and location. Each permission is used only for the related feature (for example, recording a clip, importing footage, or tagging a course), is handled on your device, and is optional — you can grant or revoke it anytime in iOS Settings, with only that feature becoming unavailable.

02What we don't collect

03On-device processing

All editing — importing, trimming, stitching, and exporting — happens locally on your device. Your media never leaves your phone through BirdieCut except when you choose to export or share it yourself. We operate no servers that receive your content.

04Third parties

BirdieCut relies only on Apple's system frameworks (such as camera, photo library, and maps). No third-party SDKs, analytics, or advertising tools are integrated into the app.

05Children's privacy

BirdieCut is intended for a general audience. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (COPPA), and minors should use the app under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

06Your California privacy rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have rights to know about, access, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. Because BirdieCut collects no personal information, there is nothing for us to disclose, sell, share, or delete. If you have questions, you may contact us using the details below, and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

07Data security

Because your content stays on your device, its security is governed by your device's own protections. We encourage you to keep your device secure and to back up any files that matter to you.

08Changes to this policy

If future features (for example, accounts, cloud sync, or subscriptions) ever require processing personal data, we will update this policy, update the "Last updated" date, and prominently disclose the change before such features launch.
